From Small Town to Big Deals: Your Trusted M&A Guide

Hi, I'm John,


I have always admired business owners. Growing up around successful entrepreneurs sparked a dream within me, and after college, I jumped headfirst into the fascinating world of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).


Learning from the Masters:


  • Start-up Experience: My M&A journey began in Harrisburg, PA, learning the ropes from a former CFO of Hershey Foods. It turned out I was a pretty good dealmaker and I successfully closed several multi-million dollar transactions in my first 18 months.
  • Boutique Investment Bank: Joining a boutique Wall Street firm exposed me to private equity giants and honed my deal-making skills at the highest level.
  • Private Equity Immersion: I worked directly with Private Equity legends like Bruce Rauner of GTCR, and Louis Marx, Jr (owner of Swiss Army Knives), gaining invaluable insights.


Forging My Own Path:


  • Bringing Buyers and Sellers Together: Back in Central PA, I saw a gap: Business owners ($2-20MM in value) lacked access to top-tier M&A advice. I filled that gap. My first deal, selling a specialty horticulture company to Madison-Dearborn Partners, set the stage.
  • Running a Business: Trying my hand at operations with The Lehigh Valley Easy Pages taught me valuable lessons about my strengths, leading me back to M&A full-time.
